A frugal accounting Senior at Manchester College, Nick Barbknecht grew up in Michigan City, Ind.. As Founder and former Chairman of the Manchester College Republicans, a veteran of several political campaigns, and a writer for Hoosier Access, Nick is deeply involved in politics in the Hoosier state. As the youngest member of the Indiana Leadership Forum, Nick is working to connect leaders across the state in order to advance limited government ideals on our college campuses and help elect Republicans to all levels of office in Indiana.

Currently a Junior at IPFW studying Public Management Joe Knepper brings a great deal of grassroots experience to the Indiana Federation of College Republicans. Aside from his work with the College Republicans Joe currently works part-time as a Special Assistant for Congressman Marlin Stutzman in addition to serving on Stutzman’s reelection campaign. Prior to joining Congressman Stutzman’s staff Joe served as a Victory Field Representative for the Indiana Republican Party in 2010. Joe first became involved in politics during the election of 2008 when he interned for Governor Daniels’ reelection campaign in Fort Wayne.
Maggie Musgrave, Treasurer

Margaret Musgrave is a 2011 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle,
IN, and graduated with a degree in Classical Studies. Margaret grew up in
Evansville, IN and is a proud supporter of completing I-69. During the past
few years, she has interned with Governor Daniels’ office, the Lt.
Governor’s office, and the Indiana State Republican Party, all while helping
her mother Cheryl run for public office. Margaret was ranked by Hoosier
Access in the top ten of young politicos under the age of 25 in Indiana. She currently resides in Plainfield, IN, and is working at Scale Computing in their Operations department as part of the Orr Entrepreneurial Fellowship.
Ethan Manning, Secretary

A political science and economics major, Ethan Manning recently completed his freshman year at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). Ethan, 19, has become increasingly involved with Republican politics and campaigns since graduating from high school in 2010. He is the Chairman of the IPFW College Republicans chapter and is also involved with the Indiana Federation of Young Republicans, both the Miami County and Allen County Republican Party, and the IPFW Honors Student Group. He is excited about the opportunity to serve the Indiana Federation of College Republicans this year as membership grows, involvement increases, and more college students around the state learn and promote conservative principles.
Mike Cross, Northwest Vice Chair

Mike Cross is originally from East Northport, New York and is currently majoring in Political Science at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Mike has been politically active since 2008, interning with his local Congressman and volunteering on Senator McCain’s presidential campaign. Mike is an executive board member of Purdue College Republicans and has volunteered on several campaigns in Indiana and New York in past elections. After graduation, Mike plans to possibly attend law school while continuing his political involvement.
Holly Gillham, Northeast Vice Chair

Holly Gillham is a junior public relations major and political science minor from Greenfield, Indiana. Attending at Ball State University, Holly gained hands-on experience in Delaware County campaigns in 2010 and is excited to see a repeat performance in the 2011 and 2012 election cycles across the state. Holly is also the chairwoman of the Ball State College Republicans and the treasurer of Ball State’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter. In the summer of 2011 Holly is completing a communications internship in the Office of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. After graduating from Ball State, Holly hopes to find a job where she can fuse her passion for politics and communication into one.
Jenna Knepper, Indianapolis Vice Chair

Jenna Knepper is a junior at IUPUI, double majoring in History and Political Science. Currently, Jenna is working for Mayor Greg Ballard’s reelection campaign. Previously, Jenna interned for the Indiana House of Representatives during the 117th General Assembly and the Indiana Republican Party during the 2010 election cycle. Jenna first became involved in Indiana politics through volunteering at phone banks for Governor Daniels’ reelection campaign in 2008.
Matt Huckleby, Southwest Vice Chair

Matt Huckleby serves as a Field Representative for U.S. Representative Larry Bucshon. He is a 2011 graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Prior to serving for Congressman Bucshon’s district office, he worked on the Bucshon for Congress campaign as Field Director. In his time at ISU he held a number of leadership roles including serving as student member of ISU Board of Trustees and a member of the Student Government Association. In 2008 Matt served as an intern for the Indiana Republican Party and Chair of the ISU Students for McCain. Matt has been involved with the College Republicans since 2008 first as Chair of the ISU CR’s. He now serves as the Southwest Vice Chair for the IFCR.
